Fix consolidated clip problem when using Commit Track in Pro Tools 12

If you are trying to use the commit track feature on your final mix bus to save individual files but it keeps consolidating I might have a solution for you. First, obviously make sure you have un-checked the “consolidate track” box. PT12 has a -144dbfs floor. So, if you have any plugins that add saturation, distortion, hiss, or any noise at all – chances are when you commit the track you are getting one long file because the levels are above -144. You can either turn off the offending plugins (for me, those causing problems included my waves L3, L2, and H-Delay just to name a few), or you can cheat and put a gate at the end of the mix and then bounce down.
